Seagull
New London, CT 2016
They are not the prettiest of birds, but they're so used to man, that you can get pretty close, and they won't fly off. I think he was looking for a handout.
I always thing of gulls around the shores of large bodies of water, but last fall saw thousands of gulls following a tractor plowing up a field. We are a long way from any major shore line, but there are lots of gulls if there is an opportunity to eat.
