Nashville, TN. 2016
In honor of the Barbershop Harmony International Convention in Nashville, The Rock Bottom Brewery created a special brew. Between all the various contests and other activities, there were plenty of opportunities to partake of this special Belgian Pale Ale. I enjoyed it.
Like the cleaver name of the brew. Lovely sign. Did you try some? What was your opinion? We have a friend who sings in a Barbershop quartet. They travel all over the country to go to contests where they have won some national prizes.
ReplyDeleteYes, I tried a pint or two, or three... but who's counting. It was very good. Light and crisp with a hint of citrus, and not overly bitter. A great drink for cooling off in the hot, humid weather of Nashville last week.
DeleteI wonder if my son knows of this! He writes for the Beer Connoisseur Magazine, you should look at it online! :-)
ReplyDeleteI think this was a one-time brew, and I'm not sure how much was made or sold during our convention week. I know I did my share of tasting ;) I'll definitely check out Beer Connoisseur Magazine. A number of my colleagues are really into home brewing and I'm sure they're familiar with this magazine. We are all chemists after all....
