Nor'Easter

Niantic, CT  2018

We had a pretty bad storm here on Friday with high winds, rain, and snow, depending upon where you were in Connecticut.  Along the coast, we had only rain and wind.  These "nor'easter" storms are New England's equivalent of a hurricane, and sometimes can be just as damaging.  We lost power  for a few hours last night, and I awoke to find this tree didn't fare too well with the high winds.  It wasn't big enough to cause any significant damage, but nevertheless, by mid afternoon, it was cut down and chipped.

  1. Yup, plenty of wind in SWCT where I was, but a couple of inches of snow, too. Ridgefield had a lot of power outages, but my daughter's power stayed on.
