Waxhaw, NC 2021
At one time, I think Waxhaw was serviced by a passenger line, but now a days the line is used just for freight. This particular train had 97 cars of all shapes and sizes. The tracks run right through the downtown business district and everyone downtown stops to watch.
The three engines tells us it was a long train. The loss of passenger service is sad, but common on most all train lines.
