Breck Marshall
Mystic, CT 2021
The Breck Marshall is a reproduction of a Cape Cod catboat built in the small boat workshop at Mystic Seaport in 1987. Sightseers can enjoy sailing the Mystic River during the warmer months of the year.
What a fine looking old sailboat design. That gaff rigged sail looks huge. I've never sailed a boat like this, but would love to try it out. Odd there is no jib sail as they give the rudder more authority, but perhaps the forward mounted mast keeps the boat balanced. Ed, thank you for your great sailboat photos.
