  1. This looks like it could be a sculptural version of Marcel Duchamp's Nude Descending a Staircase, but it is not quite in the cubist tradition.

    1. Thank you for looking and commenting. I had to look up Marcel Duchamp and find a picture of his Nude Descending a Staircase, and I would have to agree with you. I can see what you're saying. I'm not all that knowledgable about fine art, but I like this sculpture more than Duchamp's painting. But hey, I'm just a scientist....

    2. Duchamp's painting might be the first work of Modern Art. He was influenced by a set of photographs made by Eadward Muybridge who was studying motion and had a nude women walk down a staircase. Muybridge used many camera to capture multiple images. This was the birth of motion pictures, and it was all done in the interest of science. I still like the sculpture you found.
