Emma C Berry

Mystic, CT  2020

This is one of the oldest surviving commercial vessels in the United States.  The Emma C Berry was built just a couple of miles down river from where it now sits in 1866.  It was in use until at least 1926 and in 1931 was restored.  She was donated to the Seaport in 1969 and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1994.

  1. Wow, what a historic sailing ship. May she continue to be sea worthy for a long time. She has great lines.
