First Snow 2020

Niantic, CT  2020

We had our first significant snow storm this past week.  It was fortunate  that this area only got about 8" of accumulation.  Other areas in Connecticut and New England got well over 30".  Snow is only pretty immediately after it falls, before the plows come and before it has gone through a couple of freeze/thaw cycles.  I'd be happy if this were the last snow for this winter, but I doubt it will be.

  1. I thought about you and that big snow storm. Good you got dug out. We are having a strange brown Christmas with no snow. Most unusual for SD, but then this is 2020 a weird year. Merry Christmas to you and yours, Ed.
