Looks like a crowded waterway. Would not want to be there in a sailboat. Love travel by ferryboat. Took the ferry from Manitowoc, WI to Ludington, MI on the S.S. Badger, the largest ferry to sail on the Great Lakes. It began service in 1953, and is now the only steamship operating in the U.S. It was placed on the list of historic sites in 2009. Originally operated by the railroad, it carried rail, vehicle, and passenger traffic, but now is just vehicles and passengers. The trip takes about six hours. It is a great way to travel.
"On your right!"
