Jonnycake Center

Westerly, RI  2016

I'm always impressed when old buildings are restored and put to good use.  This sawtooth building is home to the Jonnycake Center of Westerly, RI,  which operates a huge thrift store here and provides other community services.

    The original idea of the saw tooth was to provide interior lighting, but I suppose the skylights are gone?
