Canterbury, CT 2021
I'm not sure how long this mile marker has been here, or if it even the original marker. It looks to be in good shape, so I'm thinking it might be fairly recent. You can find similar markers all throughout Connecticut. I'm not sure how many original mile markers have survived to the present day, nor when they were placed.
From the lichen on the stone it looks like it has been there for a long time. But the real question is, 13 miles from where?
