A lot of benches one finds these days are made from recycled plastics, as is this one here. The look pretty nice, and I'm sure they'll wear pretty well and will require less maintenance in the long term, but I feel they lack a little character.

Ed: I'm a husband for 49 plus years now to my lovely wife, Michele and the very proud father of Jen and Mary. More recently, I'm a grandfather to Colin and Clara! Up until February of 2019 I was employed by Forma Therapeutics searching for the latest drugs to treat cancer. As of 2024, I am fully retired in North Carolina enjoying time with my grandchildren as they grow. In my spare time I enjoy digital photography, computers, and singing barbershop harmony. I enjoy the outdoors, a good baseball game, and Notre Dame Football.
