There seems to be vineyards growing everywhere these days (even in SD), and that's great to see. They can be magic places, and some can produce wonderful wine sometimes.
There are not a lot of wineries in Connecticut, but this particular one is my favorite. The winery is truly a "bi-coastal" winery since it purchases grape juice from a number of California vineyards and begins the fermentation process in California. The wine is then shipped here for barreling, aging and bottling. In addition they produce wines from their vineyards here in Connecticut. Before being a vineyard, the land used to be used as dairy farm. It's one of my favorite places in this part of Connecticut. Thanks for looking.
