Angry Sound

There were high winds in the northeast this week due to a "bomb cyclone". It made for some pretty big waves along our beach in Niantic. I have rarely seen Long Island Sound this rough.
Yes, you're right.... oh, wait a minute.... I don't have a boat! ;) Weather never seemed as threatening before the days of "bomb cyclones", "polar vortexes", "wind chills" and "heat indexes". And now it seems that every weather broadcast tells us how many are at risk.
Ed, at least you were not out on the Sound in your boat. Heard about the "Bomb Cyclone" on the news.
