Eugene O'Neill Masked
New London, CT 2020
Playwright Eugene O'Neill spent a good part of his life in New London and is remembered by this statue of him as a youth. I'm glad to see he's safe from Covid-19.
I'm sure there must be some interesting stories about him. A couple of blocks from this statue is tavern where O'Neill spent quite a bit of time. I've been meaning to check it out some time. It's still in existence and claims to have the best burgers in New London.
He was my Grandfather's cousin. Not sure how that makes him related to me. There are family stories about him.
