I've posted pictures before from the Oswegatchie Hills Nature Preserve, located not far from where I live. It makes for a nice walk, and when I'm really ambitious, there are some great, well-marked trails throughout the preserve for a serious hike. Clark Pond was created back in the 1800's, I think. During the winter months, ice would be harvested from the pond and transported to the local docks to keep the fishermen's catch fresh. There's no longer a need to harvest ice, but the pond remains and on this particular day offered this reflection. For other great reflections, check out Weekend Reflections hosted by James.
