Ithaki
New London, CT 2015
The bulk cargo carrier, Ithaki was in port this weekend. It was built in 2014, and has a gross tonnage of 23268 tons. Last I knew, she's on her way to Savannah. I'd love to know what these ships carry.
Perhaps a web search could give you an idea of the cargo. These ships sail if the harbor isn't frozen. Great shot. You are absolutely right about the Surprise originally being the Rose. Her bell still says, "HMS Rose".
