Sculptured Head
Middletown, CT 2015
This sculpture can be seen in a park next to the Connecticut River in Middletown, CT. I could find neither a reference nearby to the sculptor nor a title to the work.
I try not to repeat photos in my blog, and I keep a pretty good record of which photos I post. I thought for sure I had posted this sculpture once before, but I couldn't find it, so I posted it here. It's an interesting piece, but I find it just a little bit creepy for some reason. It looks out of place in Middletown.
I know this head! I have photographed it a couple of times, but I don't think it ever made it to my blog.
