New Haven Evening
New Haven, CT
I don't work too far from New Haven, home of Yale University. I really need to spend some more time in this city. There is so much culture and history here as well as marvelous photo opportunities.
You have great street scenes. Especially like the night street scene. With all the students in New Haven, there must be an active night life along these streets.
New Haven is a a college town, that's for sure. There is lots of night life here with some fine restaurants. I just don't get over this way as much as I should. Photography at night is challenging. I was hoping to capture a lot more of the reds of the nearby emergency vehicles' lights, which seemed to dominate the scene as I remember it. It didn't quite come through in the photograph.

ReplyDeleteIt is a fine night scene. I like trying night photography in cities. This one worked well.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jack. With it getting dark so early these days around these parts, I think I'll be trying a lot more night photography.
