  1. I like this composition with the two dark ... hm, whatever they are ... on the left very much. Also the muted colouring. Very good.

    2. Those structures in the lower left of the pictures are called mooring dolphins. They are used to provide a point for a ship to tie up, where it is impracticable to extend the dock. One can find out a lot spending a little time with Google. So now we know.

    3. Aah. The German word is "Dalbe" - never heard it before. Now I know, too! ;-) Thanks for researching.
