It was a little too cold on Jan 1 to be out in the water here, when this shot was taken. It does look like I could be standing in the water, but I was standing on dry ground across a small cove from the shipyard. I never tire of looking at these ships.
I would tire of looking at this sight either. Thank you for your Mayflower II posts. Perhaps you could document some of the repairs as they occur. I'm sure some of your other followers are interested.

DeleteThere is about as much under the waterline as above. That makes it a tall ship. Great shot. Did you have to swim out to get it?
