Antique Outboards
Some of the antique marine engines on display this year's exposition looked like they've hardly been used.
Others obviously have been well used.
It appeared that Evinrude engines made up the majority of engines on display.

While it is fun to look at and admire these antique marine engines, the real fun comes in starting them up and watching them run as shown here.

1916 Indian Powerplus
Springfield, MA 2017
The Indian Powerplus celebrated it's 100th anniversary last year. It was the first motorcycle to feature a clutch and a kick starter rather than the traditional bicycle pedals.

Indian 'Eighty'
Springfield, MA 2017
I have never been on a motorcycle and never had any great desire to ride one. Seeing some of these classic bikes makes me wonder what I might have missed in life.

This mermaid caught my eye standing in front of an antiques shop in Niantic. I think she has seen better days.

Antique Wagon
Mystic, CT 2017
Olde Mistick Village is a unique shopping area right off of I-95 and serves as an "unofficial" gateway to Mystic and the other historic attractions in the area. The Village consists of 60 shops and restaurants and was designed to resemble a New England town from the 1720's. Scattered throughout the village are antiques such as this wagon which add to the charm of shopping here.

Packard Engine
Mystic Seaport, Mystic, CT 2016
This engine was built by the Packard Motor Car Co. of Detroit, Michigan around 1940. The engine has 12 cylinders and generates 1300 HP. Three of these engines would provide power for the US Navy's Patrol Torpedo (PT) boats during World War II. This engine was operating and created quite a roar when throttled up.
