Sailing the Thames River
New London, CT 2020
I was actually more interested in the capturing the sailboat, and wasn't paying attention to the background. You can see parts of the latest submarine under construction at Electric Boat in the background.

Cape Henlopen (LST-510 USS Buncombe County)
New London, CT 2020
This ferry is one of the oldest ferries in operation. First built for World War II in 1944, she partook in the invasion at Normandy. After being decommissioned in 1946, she was sold into commercial service and now sails between New London, CT and Orient Point, NY.

Fire Fighter
New London, CT 2020
On a recent photo walk along the Thames River in New London, I came across the fireboat Fire Fighter. This fireboat served the FDNY for 72 years and fought over 50 fires in that time span. She assisted in pumping water after the 9/11 attacks when water mains were inoperable around the World Trade Center. She also took part in rescue efforts for the "Miracle on the Hudson". Currently she's a museum and an historic landmark.

Building
Chester, CT 2020
I'm not sure what to make of this building found in Chester. There were no markings to be seen. It looks kind of like a barn, perhaps with living quarters, or an office. Maybe it was once a garage. I'm not sure. It looked well maintained, and one can see a window air conditioner on the right side.
