Rocks II

One of the many boulders one sees at Rocky Neck State Park.

  1. Love the color and textures of the boulders contrasted with the leaf covered ground. Hard to find anything green this time of year. Yes, the frames set your pictures off very nicely.

There is a difference in the look of the two pictures of the mansion. The one without the frame is slightly lighter. Don't know if you intended that, or if it is a function of the way it was uploaded?

    Keep up the good work.

  2. It is surprising just how green the moss is on these rocks. The rocks are pretty much shaded, especially in the summer time, and now with the short winter days, there still isn't a lot of sunlight. Moss is pretty hardy.

You're right about the mansion pictures. The difference was in a slightly different workflow to upload the pictures to the blog. The export plug-in I use to create the framed picture adds some sharpening and changes the image slightly. I wasn't sure what I was going to see, but there is a slight difference. So in a sense it was intended.

    Thanks for looking.
