Orange, CT 2014
I think everyone of my generation had a PEZ dispenser as kid, if not many different types of PEZ dispensers. The original PEZ candy was a mint made in Vienna, Austria back in the 1920's. The US headquarters was relocated to Orange, CT in 1974 and in 2011, they opened a visitor's center, where you can learn all about this candy.
What I think is interesting about PEZ... there is no easy way to load the candy into the dispenser. Why did they never figure that one out? I like the sign however.
ReplyDeleteYou're right, John. That was a frustrating aspect of PEZ Dispensers, although I do remember my dad having a knack for filling them with all 12 pieces of candy at once. I did learn at the visitors center that PEZ dispensers always had only 12 pieces of candy.
