Spring Hill Tavern

Portsmouth, NH  2016

Ever run across a scene or an object and think to yourself, "boy, that would make a great photo."  I experience this a lot, most recently on a side street in Portsmouth.  I saw this neat old sign and door to a tavern an thought there should be a good photo here.  I tried a number of different shots but in the end, I'm not happy with any of them.

Yale University - Iron Gate

New Haven, CT

I failed to note where this particular gate is located.  It might have some connection to a fraternity at Yale due to the greek letters, Delta Psi, seen above the arch.

New London, CT

On a recent walk around New London, I came across this door.  It had a very interesting texture, and a very weathered look which I think looks good rendered in black and white.
