Connecticut River

Old Lyme, CT.

This is a view of the Connecticut River, near where it empties into Long Island Sound.  Across the river is the town of Old Saybrook.

    Very nice how the line of clouds, the town at the horizon, the river and the stretch of land in the foreground complement each other.

    Most dramatic cloud line. Looks like a bit of heavy weather coming. Time to reef the sails, and head for a safe anchorage.
