Connecticut River

Old Lyme, CT.

This is a view of the Connecticut River, near where it empties into Long Island Sound.  Across the river is the town of Old Saybrook.

  1. Very nice how the line of clouds, the town at the horizon, the river and the stretch of land in the foreground complement each other.

  2. Thank you for looking and your comments. I'm glad you noticed the lines. It was what drew me to to take that particular image. I like your new website, and I can understand your frustrations with blogger. I appreciate that you listed my blog in your blogroll. Thanks!!

  3. Most dramatic cloud line. Looks like a bit of heavy weather coming. Time to reef the sails, and head for a safe anchorage.

  4. The weather never really turned bad that night, but the skies were pretty dramatic. Thanks for looking!
