Thank you, Martina. I'm not sure what the stick is easier, but it does look like a car antenna. Again, I didn't notice it when I took the shot. I was more interested in the door. Duh! I need to be a little more observant.
But it's an interesting thing. Without it the photo would be nice. Nicely framed. Having nice colours. Everything is almost perfect. A photo one looks twice. But with the third look: hey ... there is an antenna. Someone might be living there. Is it the house owner's car? What kind of car? A small car I suppose. How might the street look like in front of the house? Are there other cars? Hm, it's hard to explain - but sometimes these "accidents" make a story. Where at first there was "only" a photo. So - my wondering wasn't criticism or negative at all. No.
Impressive colors. And framing.
ReplyDeleteOnly I wonder what this small stick in front might be .. looks like a car's antenna ...

Vibrant colors on this 18th Century house. Well seen and photographed. The car antenna just adds a bit of interest.
DeleteThank you both. I actually went back and tried to clone out the antenna. But having read both your comments, I'll just leave the picture alone.
